2020 Looking for Certainty

When the world flips upside-down, most people try to find stability.  They search for certainty.  While I can't predict the future, I can say that the future of Fish Story Guide Service is certain.  The rivers are flowing, the bugs are hatching and we will be fishing.

Early in the season we got hit hard with cancellations. People were nervous about the situation, and rightfully so. Fortunately, my longtime clients stepped up to the plate, and kept us afloat until State regulations changed.

In early June, we got the good news that our lodges would be reopening. It was time to get rolling. With safety precautions in place, my guests felt more comfortable with rebooking.  It was time to settle into our new normal.

Another "not so normal" guiding season has begun. My hope is that fishing will become a refuge to people who need it. I have said it many times, whenever things get difficult, head to a river. There is no better place to clear your mind and focus solely on the moment.

For up-to-date reports on our fishing, please head to the Fish Story Guide Service Facebook page, located in the tab above. If you would like my availability for July and August, please send me an email at patrick@fishstoryguideservice.com.   You can also contact me by phone at 603-770-5876.

As always, thank you for your support and we hope to see you out on the rivers.

-Patrick
